The well-known STR-1 series of fan speed controllers offers models ranging from 0.8 to 20 A. With this 7.5 A version, you can control the speed of your single-phase fan(s) up to a current of 7.5 A. Thanks to autotransformer technology, it delivers a well-regulated output voltage to your fan, ensuring smooth motor operation and extending the fan’s lifespan. Using the external rotary knob on the device, you can choose from 5 speeds. An additional 230 VAC output is available as soon as the rotary knob is turned from the zero position. This output can be used, for example, to connect a damper or an operational status indicator lamp.
Robust Housing
The housing of the STR-1 models up to 7.5 A is made of high-quality r-ABS plastic. This material is exceptionally heat-resistant, highly durable, and provides excellent protection against impacts. The housing can be surface-mounted and offers IP54 protection against the ingress of dirt, dust, and moisture. Steel housings are used for the larger models.
